Yes. QalbeQal includes a daily free dictation allowance. You can start in the app without creating a named account.
Does Amharic dictation need the internet?
Yes. Amharic recordings are processed through QalbeQal’s cloud service to return a transcript.
What happens to my recordings?
Ordinary dictation is not added to QalbeQal’s training recordings. Sharing audio to improve recognition is a separate, optional choice. Read the privacy details
Can I use it without setting up the keyboard?
Yes. Dictate in the iPhone app, then copy and paste the result. Setting up the QalbeQal keyboard is optional.
